Every American deserves access to affordable health care. Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, we've moved closer to this goal than ever before. Kerri will fight in Congress to ensure that the best parts of that bill--such as protections for people with pre-existing conditions and allowing children to stay on their parents' plans until age 26--will remain in full force.
At the same time, there are clearly reforms that are needed to make the bill work better, like repealing the new tax on medical devices which adds to the costs borne by seniors and the infirm: Kerri will work with Representatives from both parties to repeal that tax, and to seek other ways to make the law more efficient and effective.
